Dr Mi-Ok Kim
Dr Mi Ok Kim is a biomedical engineer (B. BioMedEng, M. EngSci (UNSW)) by training. Recently, she was awarded a PhD from Macquarie University. Her PhD research is about quantifying relationship amongst blood pressure, cerebral fluid pressure and blood flow in the brain, particularly in investigating useful parameters from their pulse waveforms for early diagnose of cerebral vascular dysfunction such as stroke and vascular dementia. Previously, she has worked for 5 years as a biomedical (field service) engineer at St. Vincent’s hospital in Sydney and Medtel Australia.
Qualifications: B. BioMedEng, M. EngSci (UNSW), PhD (Macquarie University)
